Washington Association of Prosecuting Attorneys, a nonprofit serving 39 Elected County Prosecutors and their offices statewide, is seeking two experienced and dependable administrative professionals to join our small, dedicated team. These are both full-time positions that supports both office operations and training needs for our members.
What You’ll Do:
Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, Attorneys, and Training & Office Administrator. Assist in planning and coordinating training conference events and meetings—venues, speakers, registration, and on-site logistics. Build positive relationships with members, vendors, and speakers, serving as a trusted point of contact. Maintain website, records management, track expenses, create reports (Excel skills required), draft and proofread documents, and book travel arrangements. Use Zoom and other technology to support virtual training sessions. Travel in-state for conferences and meetings (approx. 15% annually). Must have valid U.S. Driver’s License.
What We’re Looking For:
Associate’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of administrative experience (legal, nonprofit, or association background a plus).
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and an eye for anticipating needs.
Self-starter and excellent communicator who works well in a team-oriented environment.
Intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas, sorting/filtering, tables).
Comfortable with technology, including Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite.
