About the Company

Chelan County Public Works serves the unincorporated areas of Chelan County in North Central Washington. Public Works is one of the county’s largest departments, with approximately 40 employees working in its five road maintenance districts and 40 in the main office in Wenatchee. Public Works maintains the county’s roads and oversees all road-related county construction projects. Its departments also address stormwater, flood control, development as related to roads, and addressing. Public Works also has a Solid Waste program, which sets countywide policies, oversees two transfer stations and operates a year-round household hazardous waste facility. Serving the community in a variety of capacities, Public Works strives to keep Chelan County a great place to live, work and play.
