Job Description

Columbia County is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of county auditor. This “hands-on” position is a full time, exempt position; full benefits included. The Auditor is one of the two principal financial officers of Columbia County. The Auditor is responsible for planning/budgeting, organizing and directing the County finance, accounting, audit, payroll and benefits, data processing, accounting software programs, and other related functions. The Auditor is responsible for training sufficient staff including him-/herself to be able to provide these services and use the County’s major financial system, Incode 10.
